Yapurutu adapted with a PVC tube, electrical tape and durepox. Yapurutu is an instrument used for dancing at parties.

Yapurutu Pachiúba is made of Pachiúba rod, banana straw and beeswax. The legend tells that the Uirapuru bird lived inside the instrument, which played on its own. Since the bird left, it should be played by men.

Yapurutus have no entires (holes along the body), and is played by varying the intensity of the user's breath.
